BACKGroUND

The boy's name was Parker. He was born outside the Yokota Air Base in Fussa Japan and was groomed in the ancient Japanese martial art of Aikido. Drawing from its' teachings and driven by a genuine desire to change the world, Parker's story is like many of ours.  In his heart he knew he was destined to do amazing things, but like many of us he had no idea where to begin. Naturally a problem solver and creative thinker, Parker saw opportunity in chaos and a worth while challenge amongst uncertainty,

Due to his magnanimous nature of course, Parker often found himself jaded by the results of his altruistic undertakings. During his morning trainings, he would often wonder how he would leave his mark on the world. Unbeknownst to him, it would take a moment of dispare to set him on a course that would equipped him to do just that. This is the evolution of Parker Jones, genesis

The Lingo

Ambition & Resilience - nouns

  • A strong desire to do or achieve something, typically requiring determination and hard work.
  • The capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness

 

Entrepreneurial Discovery - applied concept

  • The process of systematically scanning for technological, political, regulatory, social, and demographic changes to discover opportunities to produce new goods and services.

Globalization - noun

  • The idea that the world is developing a single economy & culture as a result of improved technology and communications and the influences of very large multi-international corporations.

Magnanimous - adjective

  • Very generous or forgiving, especially toward a rival or someone less powerful than oneself. 

Downsizing - verb

  • Reducing the size of a company by eliminating workers and/or divisions within the company. It is sometimes called "trimming the fat."

Merger - noun

  • The combination of two things, especially companies into one.

Personal Mission Statement - applied concept

  • Your statement of personal philosophy based on what matters most to you and what you want to do with your life.  Keep it simple, short, and concise.

  • Obtain (goods or a service) from an outside or foreign supplier, especially in place of an internal source.

  • An organized effort to gather information about target markets or customers.
  • Providing important information to identify and analyze the market need, size and competition.
